We can all agree that life can get overwhelming…especially if you’re a kid navigating emotions around new experiences ranging from a budding social life to changing family dynamics and to managing personal wellness. That’s why this edtech startup founder and children’s book author created a series of comprehensive multimedia courses children can access from anywhere at any time. The platform, filled with stories, videos, and beautiful illustrations, guides children in calming their minds and understanding and communicating their emotions. With years of direct personal experience, scientific research, and consulting with parents and teachers, they know their product will give kids the emotional intelligence they (we all) need more now than ever.

They had the product, but needed to get it in the market. This solution is coming at just the right time, too. The eLearning industry continues to grow and is predicted to reach $325 billion by 2025!

Ona Media Company worked with this client to: 

  • Layout an integrated strategic marketing plan.

  • Pilot a lead generation project to build a new user base. This included ideating and creating valuable gated content and leveraging social and digital ads to drive form submissions.

  • Audit and present technology solutions where existing integrations were creating roadblocks to conversion.

The initial results from the pilot are making for a bright future! 

  • Increased visibility of the brand to over 2M impressions and reaching nearly a million people.

  • Generated over 500 new leads, with more than half of those self-identifying as educators interested in bringing the product into their classrooms – creating an earning potential of at least $25K. Cost per lead is less than $4 per lead, which is half of the average cost per action in the education industry (~$8 cpa).

  • As the B2C marketing takes hold, we are also working with this client to develop a new market strategy to address the $325B eLearning industry by implementing an enterprise licensing model.

  • Launched the first book on Amazon which resulted in the first-ever online sales and a perfect 5-star rating. Expanding presence in the growing $2.58B children’s book market – which is expected to reach $2.62B this year – by working with them to publish and launch the next seven books in the series.

  • Identify critical resources needed, including sales force, strategic partnerships, literary agents, and technology shifts to nurture leads into sales and enhance the customer experience.
